V. Make-up policy a. It is YOUR responsibility to get your make-up work. b. You will have one day per missed class to turn in missed work. (If you miss two days of class you have two days to turn in missed work.) c. Missed tests and quizzes: It is YOUR responsibility to see me the day you return to school to schedule the make-up date. d. Alternative assignments may be assigned to make-up a missed project, depending on each individual circumstance.
VI. Late work a. Class work or homework not turned in by the due date (beginning of class, end of class, or a specific date) will be accepted for a partial grade. b. Major projects will be accepted after the due date, but your earned grade will be lowered by one letter grade per day late.
VII. Re-takes and Re-dos a. Re-takes will be allowed for quizzes, tests, and projects only. b. The original grade and the new grade will be averaged together and will replace the original grade. This applies even if the new grade is lower than the original grade. c. Retakes and Re-dos only apply to assignments that were originally turned in. d. Retakes and Re-dos must be completed and turned in within ten days of the original assignment due date.
VII. Handwriting a. If I am unable to read your handwriting on any assignment, you will receive a zero and will be asked to re-do the assignment. If you do not re-do the assignment, the zero will remain. b. If I am unable to read your handwriting on a test or quiz, you will receive a zero on the answers that I am unable to read.
